What is the difference between a free account and a CFA member account?

Any user can create a free CFT and CFP account. This account is limited to only 5 assessments, and doesn't have exporting capabilities.

Whilst the membership means that the account unlocks unlimited assessments and exporting, members can also use the CFT to run assessment aggregation and to export multiple assessments.

In summary, further benefits of a CFA membership itself include:
  1. Member-only Cool Farm Tool (CFT) features: unlimited assessments, data export and aggregation, API integration (subject to an additional licensing fee);
  2. Community: connect with other CFA members playing an active role in driving sustainable agriculture to share best practices, referrals and holistic support;
  3. A voice in the future development of the CFT: through voting rights, committee appointments and working groups;
  4. Knowledge transfer: via our training hub & consultancy;
  5. Brand visibility: publicly show that you’re a key enabler for literacy about the relationship between agriculture and climate change mitigation.

Our CFA membership fee structure is listed on our Join us page.

If you would like to become a member, please complete our CFA Membership Application Form, which includes our Membership T&Cs. Once we receive the completed form, your application will be reviewed by the Secretariat and we will then prepare the invoicing and start the onboarding process.
