Known Issue: Non-Crop Measured Biomass results not applying the Carbon Factor correctly in CFT V2.0
In CFT v2, the carbon fraction (CF) was not correctly applied in the calculation for non-crop measured biomass from tropical moist hardwoods. This can lead to results that are approximately 0.47 times lower. This is why results may differ between CFT v2 and CFP v3.
This difference has been confirmed for tropical moist hardwoods, where the CF value is 0.47, but it has not been verified for other species
In CFP v3, the CF is correctly applied, resulting in higher and more accurate values. While this difference has been confirmed for specific species, it has not yet been verified across all non-crop species.
When assessments are migrated from CFT v2 to CFP v3, this issue will be automatically corrected, and results will align with the updated CFP v3 calculations.

Non-crop biomass estimated vs. Non-crop biomass measured models
The non-crop biomass estimated is a tier 1 model asking for an estimate of biomass (plants) other than the assessed cash crop based on density and occupied area. The non-crop biomass measured is a tier 3 model based on measured data Both estimated ...
