If a farm moved from growing coffee in full-sun/monocrop to growing it shaded/agroforestry, would this be considered change from cultivated to perennial under LUC?

Both of these eventualities of growing coffee is considered to be a perennial crop and thus the field for land use change doesn't need to be used. However, you can choose the different options for coffee growing systems at the beginning of starting your assessment to have the difference of biomass growth curves etc. reflected in your assessment.
