How do “Old Runs” work in the Cool Farm Platform (CFP)?

When the CFP is updated to a new version (for example, from CFP 3.0 to CFP 4.0), your existing assessments will automatically display results calculated using the latest version.

The Old Run feature allows you to view your assessment as it was calculated under a previous CFP version. This means you can see the original inputs and results exactly as they were when you first ran the assessment - even if the underlying calculation methods have since changed.

This is especially useful for:

  • Tracking historical results for your own records

  • Comparing changes across different method versions

  • Reporting consistent figures to clients or stakeholders

Example:
If you created an assessment in CFP 3.0 and the platform is now running CFP 4.0, you will see the updated 4.0 results in the UI by default. Using the Old Run view, you can still access the original CFP 3.0 results.

Current availability:

  • Old Runs are currently viewable in JSON format only.

  • We are working on adding an Excel export option in the future.
