How does Cool Farm Tool determine above-ground biomass for trees?
The CFT uses different allometric equations that determine biomass based on a few parameters, which are easy to measure (e.g. diameter at breast height). The selection is based on the various allometric equations included from IPCC and other peer reviewed literature.
