Exception for beef: Beef assessments and results will not be migrated from CFT to CFP
Data analysis shows that beef assessments represent a very small and often outdated proportion of our overall assessment dataset (less than 1%), and suggests that the value of migrating beef assessments is limited, particularly when weighed against the effort required. Therefore, it was decided not to migrate historic beef assessment data from Cool Farm Tool to Cool Farm Platform.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience for affected users. However, this is to ensure that the we can focus all efforts to successfully deliver the main pathways and with this reduce manual work as much as possible for our users. As workaround, results are still visible until CFT is discontinued and can be compared to rerun assessments in CFP.

If you need to retain beef assessments
- Export inputs and results before Cool Farm Tool is retired
- Manually recreate and run any assessments you still require in Cool Farm Platform.
- Export individual assessment data in JSON format using the "More" button in the top-right corner of the assessment page (the export option is only visible if the users have a valid group code entered under the “my projects” tab).
- If you would like to use the API to upload assessments to the Cool Farm Platform, your API specialists need to format and upload the data according to the new CFP schemas - more information can be found in our API Documentation.
